Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, Palawan

The Longest Underground River
Currently Ranking at No.7

Why it deserves your vote: The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park features a limestone mountain landscape with an 8.2km underground river. Inside are major stalactite and stalagmite formations, and several cathedral-like chambers and domes.

Things to do: Go Island hopping and watch whale sharks and dolphins in Honda Bay, visit the Calauit Game Preserve, and commune with nature at the El Nido Resorts. There's Coron Island too, where you can dive or go island hopping.

How to get there: From Puerto Princesa, rent a van to take you to Sabang beach, from where you can ride an outrigger boat that will drop you off at the park. A paddleboat will tour you to the river. Travel times take about six hours.

Wow…. Hhhhmmm… we could imagine now that passing in Subterranean River is like a experiencing that you are in another dimension of world. So we're so blessed that we could found that only here in the Philippines.

So Vote it now! New 7 Wonders of the World.

I watched this river park in Bizarre Food show on Discovery Channel! There are alot of bats and even swallows building bird nests inside. It's quite an adventure I feel, to pass through the dark cave along the river.
