Province, province, province! I really love to go in a province because experiencing the true nature was really amazing. And as my journeys begin in traveling discovery and learning new things is those what’s makes me give a reason to love my work more.
By this time though of keep coming back I am still not sure for all of things that I discovered in every province I went. And one of this is eating foods, which is what make us more native and original.
At Brgy. Puerto, Cagayan De Oro City. There was a restaurant there called Kambingan, who serves native foods to the customer. I’m not eating Kambing (Goat) so that’s why I ordered Lomi (a soup of noodles food) instead Kambing recipe.
Lomi is decidedly comfort food. Usually made of thick or flat wheat noodles, the salty/sweetish stock is thickened with corn starch. Other ingredients are pork meat, pork liver, scored squid, cabbage, carrots, crunchy snow peas, and egg.
Tasting a Lomi soup at Kambingan is for me has a very nice taste I think that was because of putting some native ingredients like chicken.
Anyway another things that I really loved in CDO are this Pastel of Vjandep from the island of Camiguin and while on my way to Vjandep bakery hmmm…. I take some photos of local Jeepney vehicle, which I think really unique for CDO.
So I hope that all of you could visit some of Provinces here in Philippines.. :D
