As a continuation of my last post (Tinuy-An Falls), planning to have an adventure trip in Surigao del Sur, will surely makes you amaze for many activities and a must visited tourist attractions that made the Philippines proud, and one of them is the Enchanter River, which is located at barrangay Talisay from the town of Hinatuan.
From 1 to 1.5 hours trip from city proper of Bislig City at 54 kilometers you can take a ride via Bus that will cost you of 55php fare or 200php via Habal-habal ride (one way) and for the fees are Entrance fee: Php25.00 per person | Life Jacket Rental: Php15.00 per hour (optional) | Picnic huts and tables: P100 | Island hopping: Php160 per hour.
In a crystal clear deep blue water that truly attracts many locals and tourist the Enchanted river is also known as Hinatuan river and it is connected to the open sea where you can hire a boat for an Island hopping trip for the cost of 160php per hour. (you may ask some local guide) Aside from swimming activity you may have chance to watch the fish feeding in everyday schedule of 12 noon, and while watching how the fish being fed, some local said that the river become enchanting because they believed that there is a fairy protecting on it. (take note that fishing is not allowed of enchanted river)
Where to eat? It is better to bring your own food or otherwise you may take an order to the small eatery out there where is little bit costly.
After visiting Enchanted River, it is more enjoyable your adventure if you will try to discover more beautiful islands attraction in Britania group of Island which will be my next post. :)
